David A. Rhodes, CFP®, ChFC®, AIF®
David's practice is built on the following personal beliefs:
- Long-term, healthy relationships are built on honest, open communication.
- An advisor must know the "big picture" before giving advice.
- Things will change, so flexibility is a key planning element.
- Every client is unique, so no one solution is always the best answer.
- Trust must be earned.
After earning his Bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at Fredonia in Economics (December 1988), David obtained his securities (Series 7) license and moved to West Palm Beach Florida. After a short stint as a stockbroker at a small brokerage firm, he worked for a financial planning firm and learned the business from the ground up. Deciding to make financial planning his career, he obtained his ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant) designation in 1995 (October 18th) from the American College in Bryn Mawr, PA. Just under a year later (9/16/96), he challenged and passed the CFP Comprehensive Exam. On September 1st, 2001, he struck out on his own.
In June of 2006, he moved his business to Tennessee while continuing to serve clients in many states. In 2015 he added the AIF designation.
